The Calgary Roughnecks will be without star faceoff man Geoff Snider when they hit the Saddledome turf tonight to face the Edmonton Rush in the first game of the National Lacrosse League’s West Division final series. The Calgary Sun has reported that the Riggers put Snider on the injured reserve list with a lower body injury Friday. In his place, Calgary will activate Matthew Dinsdale, who was second on the team in faceoff wins with a total of eight. Snider finished the season with 317 wins at the dot, second-most all time for a single season. “We’re going to miss him, but we’re going to play for him. That’s a guy you have to play for because he’s been a key part of our success this year,” said Roughnecks forward Dane Dobbie.Stamp is a TV sports announcer and lacrosse lover whose skill set made him a defender but who always dreamed of being a goal-scorer.
