The National Lacrosse League’s TV deal with the Universal Sports Network has been the source of consternation for a few NLL fans who don’t get the channel as part of their TV setup, or can’t access it because it’s not offered by their provider. And while you always have the option to upgrade if your provider does offer the channel, there’s another option coming soon for Dish Network subscribers: A free preview. According to Ch. 103 on the Dish menu, this month’s offering of free previews includes the Universal Sports Network on Ch. 402 from April 10 to April 22. That means if you’re a Dish subscriber, you should have access to at least 2 upcoming games: the April 12 game between the Buffalo Bandits and Minnesota Swarm, and the April 19 game between the Philadelphia Wings and Vancouver Stealth. If that’s still not an option for you and you’re looking to upgrade your current package, here’s the broadcast schedule for the remaining NLL games.Chavez is an avid lacrosse player in Rochester and a journalist for the Democrat and Chronicle as well as a longtime Inside Lacrosse contributor.
