Hard to believe it’s been 2 seasons since we last saw Bob Watson in a National Lacrosse League uniform. But when a man has the career he did, we’re going to be seeing more of him as various Halls of Fame honor his career. And one of the earlier Halls to get in on this action is the Guelph Sports Hall of Fame, which announced this week that Watson is among the 5 inductees for the newest class, according to the Guelph Mercury. The long-time Toronto Rock goalie will be honored by the city of Guelph for a career that defined winning and championships. He was NLL Goaltender of the Year in 2001 and 2008 and won 6 NLL championships. He’s already a member of the NLL Hall of Fame and rest assured, more Halls will be calling Watson before it’s all said and done.
