All nine teams are back in action for week seven in the National Lacrosse League.

Do you think the Philadelphia Wings (3-3) can pull off the (seemingly) impossible and break Edmonton’s win streak? I do but I don’t but I do (spoiler alert: I still picked the Rush to win). I mean they pulled off that epic win in week one, handing Buffalo its only loss of the season. Before the Wings can test the Rush (5-0) on Saturday they’ll be visiting the Toronto Rock (2-3) on Friday. In another you-just-know-it’s-gonna-be-a-great-game, the Buffalo Bandits (5-1) take the short trip to Rochester on Saturday to test their five-game win streak. The Knighthawks (3-2) are undefeated at home this season and lost their last two games by only one goal.

Also on Saturday, the Minnesota Swarm (1-4) host the Calgary Roughnecks (2-3) and in their third meeting so far this season, the Colorado Mammoth (3-5) and Stealth (2-5) face off in Vancouver.

The ILIndoor team just isn’t ready to bet against the Rush. What do you think? Fans can vote for the winners up to 30 minutes before the start of each game.

Fun Fact: The Rush and Wings have only met four times, each with a pair of wins, but the Rush have yet to win a game in Philly. In 2012, they each won once on their home turf, in 2009 in Wings won in Edmonton, and in 2007 the Rush won at home.

Here’s how we see it playing out this weekend:

Philadelphia at Toronto
I like the way the Wings are playing but it’s hard to pick against the Rock after watching their offense come to life last weekend. – Chavez

The Rock aren’t used to being below .500 and they don’t like it. Philadelphia will be a real challenge–they played very well in their big win over Vancouver–but I’ll go with the home team here. – Stamp

Edmonton at Philadelphia
How can anyone possibly pick against the Edmonton defense right now? There doesn’t seem to be any chips in that armor. – Chavez

The Rush are just looking so strong right now. Derek Keenan said he detected some complacency against Vancouver but the team played well against Rochester. The winning streak has to end some time, but I’m not ready to pick against them yet. – Stamp

Buffalo at Rochester
Yes, the Knighthawks have lost 2 straight but both are by 1 goal so it’s not like they’re struggling. They’ll get the breaks at home. – Chavez

Home floor seems to make a big difference in a lot of these East Division rivalry games but it’s still a very difficult call. Buffalo is playing well and this should be an intense matchup. I don’t expect Rochester to let the Bandits run off to a big lead this time, though. – Stamp

Calgary at Minnesota
The Roughies will shut the door on Minnesota’s offense. – Chavez

The Swarm have been very good at home the past couple of seasons. They’re also due to get some breaks and add to their single win so far. Calgary has had some trouble defensively, giving up over 13 goals per game, and Minny is just starting to find their offence. – Stamp

Colorado at Vancouver
The Stealth are too good to continue this losing streak, especially on the back end. They just have to figure out how to maintain their consistency. – Chavez

We saw the Mammoth go through a bad stretch then turn things around to get some wins. Now it’s the Stealth’s turn. They are much better than they’ve shown lately and will want to prove it to their home fans. – Stamp
