Defender Jon Sullivan and goalie Angus Goodleaf have been placed on the Active Roster – Evaluation Period by the Rochester Knighthawks. Sullivan had been on the Holdout List and Goodleaf was on the Physically Unable to Perform List. Sullivan is a veteran of nine National Lacrosse League seasons who came over to the Knighthawks from the Colorado Mammoth last season, getting into a total of 11 games between the two clubs. He’s a solid defender who plays a strong team game and can chip in on transition, but takes care of his own end first. In other words, a prototypical Mike Hasen defenceman who could help make the already formidable Rochester defence even better. Goodleaf has spent four seasons in the league as a backup with Buffalo and Rochester, compiling a 1-8 record that doesn’t do justice to his reasonably solid 10.75 goals against average and .771 save percentage.Stamp is a TV sports announcer and lacrosse lover whose skill set made him a defender but who always dreamed of being a goal-scorer.
