Minnesota Swarm rookie defender Jason Noble has withdrawn his appeal of a one-game suspension and will miss the team’s next game, the National Lacrosse League has announced. Noble originally received the suspension as a result of a match penalty he got in a pre-season game against the Calgary Roughnecks. He appealed, which allowed this year’s second overall entry draft selection to make his NLL debut in Minnesota’s opener against the Rochester Knighthawks. He will now sit out when the Swarm play the Stealth in Vancouver on January 11. The Roughnecks, meanwhile, have released rookie defender Cody Hawkins and added Scott Carnegie to their active roster. Carnegie had originally been signed to the practice roster coming out of training camp.
