The Colorado Mammoth are already getting after it. The Rochester Knighthawks get going this weekend as they prepare to defend their back-to-back National Lacrosse League titles. Who else is doing what? ILIndoor has compiled a list of the training camp dates and exhibition games scheduled for each NLL team. So if you haven’t made your plans yet to check in on your team before the season kicks off on Dec. 28, here’s your comprehensive guide. Camps this year will be intense with smaller rosters fielded by each team for the season and speaking of rosters, the deadline for NLL teams to submit their finalized 20-man roster for the start of the season is Dec. 16.
The Bandits get started on Saturday, Nov. 23. The Bandits will scrimmage the Wings on Dec. 7 and Dec. 8 at First Niagara Center, then will scrimmage the Rush on Dec. 14 at Iroquois Lacrosse Arena. The Dec. 7 scrimmage is open to the public, free of charge. A team autograph session will follow the scrimmage.

The Mammoth opened this past weekend with sessions on Friday night and Saturday morning. The team’s next session is Dec. 6 in Toronto followed by 2 more weekend sessions in Colorado.

Edmonton’s first session is Thursday, Nov. 28 through Sunday, Dec. 1 in Edmonton at Leduc Recreation Centre. The team will then have another session in Toronto from Dec. 12 to Dec. 15.

The Swarm’s first weekend session is set to begin Friday, Nov. 29 and run to Dec. 1 at the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre in Oakville, Ont. The Swarm will hold 2 more sessions there on Dec. 6-8 and Dec. 13-15. Exhibition games are scheduled for Dec. 6 vs. Colorado in Oakville, Dec. 7 vs. the Knighthawks in Rochester, and Dec. 14 vs. the Roughnecks in Oakville.

The Wings get started on Friday with weekend sessions scheduled through Sunday at Bucksmont Indoor Sports Center. All sessions are free and open to the public. Exhibition scrimmages are scheduled for Dec. 7 and 8 vs. the Bandits in Buffalo, and Dec. 21 vs. the Rock in Oakville.

The Knighthawks begin defense of the NLL title with sessions this weekend at Total Sports Experience in Rochester. Saturday’s session is from 5-7 p.m. and Sunday is from 1-4. Scrimmages are scheduled for Dec. 7 vs. the Swarm in Rochester, Dec. 14 vs. the Rock in Oakville and Dec. 15 vs. Calgary at Iroquois Lacrosse Arena.

The Rock will open their preseason with a rookie and free agent camp this weekend in Oakville with a full camp session set for the following weekend, starting on Nov. 30. The Rock will scrimmage the Mammoth on Dec. 7 in Oakville, the Knighthawks on Dec. 14 in Oakville, and the Wings on Dec. 21 in Oakville. All 3 sessions are free and open to the public.

The Stealth get started this weekend with a series of sessions, all taking place at their new home, the Langley Events Centre and fieldhouse. Saturday’s a 2-session day with blocks set for 10 a.m. to noon and 7 to 9 p.m. On Sunday, the Stealth practice from 10 a.m. to noon.
