Finally, a true Dead Head. ILGear gave us the first glimpse at a custom lacrosse head from Lacrosse Unlimited that’s sure to please Grateful Dead fans everywhere. The Warrior Evo 4 comes at us with images of the iconic band that started the jam scene, complete with a tye dye pattern, a Steal Your Face logo, Jerry Garcia’s mug and a gnarly image of the guitarist’s right hand that was missing part of the middle finger, the result of a firewood-splitting accident when he was 4 years old. To see more images, head on over to ILGear.com for an extensive photo gallery. And hopefully, more heads like this are on their way for the Grateful Dead’s starting lineup of Casey Jones, Saint Stephen, Stagger Lee, Tennessee Jed, My Brother Esau and Jack Straw (he’s from Wichita). A team like that could be The Greatest Story Ever Told.
