Ten goals is good enough to win a game, much less a period. Yet that’s where the Six Nations Rebels found themselves after the first period last night against Quebec. Taking a 10-0 lead into the second period, the Rebels cruised from there to a 21-0 win and a 4-0 record at the Junior B Founders Cup in Winnipeg. Austin Staats had 3 goals and 2 assists to lead the way and Frank Brown and Daniel Bo Henhawk also had 3 goals each for the Rebels. Six Nations plays ILA today at 8 p.m. for a berth in Sunday’s gold-medal game. The winner of that game will play the winner of the 5 p.m. game between Nova Scotia and Calgary. The 2 losers play for bronze on Sunday at 2.
