We’ve seen a lot over the course of our National Lacrosse League Girl of the Week contest. Big voter turnouts, small voter turnouts. We’ve seen tight wins and then we’ve seen what we’re seeing this week: Big wins. That’s how Allie of the Colorado Wild Bunch is advancing to the semifinals of our illustrious polling event. Allie rang up 6,350 votes to 104 for Jillian of the Washington Bombshells. It’s a bit surprising considering the strength of both contestants, but like it’s said on the lacrosse floor: You can’t argue with the scoreboard. So now we move on to our final quarterfinal matchup, putting Leah of the Colorado Wild Bunch up against Brianna of the Buffalo Bandettes.

Leah topped 3,000 votes in her debut for this season’s tournament and if you want to meet her for the first time, or simply need a refresher on what she’s about, you can do so by kindly clicking here. And, as we always promote the value of fairness, you can do the same with Brianna — meet her for the first time or get a refresher — by clicking here. She got this far after pulling in more than 9,000 votes in her first matchup.
