Barrie Blizzard, CLax, Canadian Lacrosse League, Iroquois Ironmen, Niagara Lock Monsters, Ohsweken Demons, Toronto Shooting StarsVideo: Josh Ruys, first star of Sunday’s 13-9 Shooting Stars win over the Barrie Blizzard
The Barrie Blizzard had a decent game in their franchise home debut against Toronto Sunday, but the Shooting Stars scored 5 straight goals overlapping the half-time break to earn a 13-9 win. First star Josh Ruys scored 4 goals, so it doesn’t take a mathologist to figure out that he had a big impact. Last night, Niagara dissected the Ohsweken Demons in a 20-11 win that wasn’t as close as the score makes it sound. Tonight, the Lock Monsters are back at it, playing host to the Iroquois Ironmen in an 8 pm start. You can watch tonight’s game live through JVI Video and catch archived webcasts of most CLax games at the same site.
