The air raid sirens will be calling people out of their homes and into DuBurns Arena in Canton for a North American Lacrosse League tilt with first place on the line this afternoon. The 4-1 Boston Rockhoppers face the 3-2 Baltimore Bombers for the third time this season. Baltimore (3-2) eked out a 17-16 win when the teams first faced off January 12 in the first game in Bombers franchise history. Boston turned things around in a big way in the rematch, running away with the January 26 game 20-9. This afternoon’s game starts are 3 pm. A couple hours after that, either the Bombers will hold the tie-breaker advantage on head-to-head record and thus first place or Boston will have cemented themselves as the class of the NALL field in 2013.Stamp is a TV sports announcer and lacrosse lover whose skill set made him a defender but who always dreamed of being a goal-scorer.
