After opening their existence as the Shooting Stars with a one-goal loss to Durham last week, Toronto returns to the building they used to share with the Turfdogs when they were the Oshawa Machine this afternoon looking for a little revenge. Durham downed the Stars 11-10 in Toronto’s first game at the former Maple Leaf Gardens an they’ll aim to stay perfect on the young Canadian Lacrosse League season at their home opener at 2 pm ET at the General Motors Centre. For fans who can’t make it out to the arena, I’ll have the play by play call live on JVI Productions webcast. Both teams are studded with stars who made their names in the National Lacrosse League. Today’s game marks the return to action of the Turfdogs Steve Toll and Durham is coached by Jason Crosbie. He’ll be matching wits with the Stars’ coaching staff that includes former Toronto Rock players Dan Ladouceur and Glenn Clark, who also coached the Rock. Their lineup includes Derek Hopcroft, Bubba Durno, Josh and Joe Wasson and Brian Croswell.
