National Lacrosse League: All 3 suspended players appeal, can play this weekend

The National Lacrosse League has announced that the three players who were handed suspensions for incidents in games last week have appealed, so they will all be able to play in this weekend’s games. Jon Harasym was suspended for a cross-check to the head of Minnesota defender Andrew Watt in Buffalo’s win on Saturday. You can see that play right at the beginning of this highlight clip from the game.Colorado’s Chet Koneczny earned an automatic one-game suspension when his unsportsmanlike conduct penalty against Curtis Hodgson was retroactively assessed as a match penalty upon review by the league. Washington’sTim Henderson got a major penalty for elbowing John Gallant in the same game and the league also ruled that play deserved a match penalty after reviewing the game video.
