The Baltimore Bombers of the North American Lacrosse League have announced the appointment of Dan Marohl, Shawn Nadelen, and Damien Davis as Captains and Assistant Captains of the first year professional box lacrosse team. Each player was elected by teammates through an open election.
Dan Marohl is a native of Annapolis, MD, who attended St. Mary’s and UMBC. He began his professional box lacrosse career with the Ottawa Rebel and the Philadelphia Wings of the NLL. He retired from that league at the close of 2009 as a Forward with the Minnesota Swarm. He ranks as one of the most productive American offensive players ever in the NLL.
Shawn Nadelen is a native of Rochester, NY who graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2001. He enjoyed a 10 year career with the MLL Baltimore Bayhawks retiring with the team in 2010 as a member of the Chesapeake Bayhawks. He played 11 straight seasons with the Philadelphia Wings in the NLL. He is the Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach at Towson University.
Damien Davis is a Baltimore native who attended Gilman School and Princeton University. Davis enjoyed a distinguished career in both the MLL (Long Island Lizards) and the NLL (Anaheim Storm and Portland Lumberjacks).
