ILIndoor has learned that Philadelphia Wings transition man Max Seibald is out indefinitely with a broken bone in his foot. Seibald, in his fourth season out of Cornell University, broke the fifth metatarsal in his foot and was placed on the Physically Unable to Perform list by the Wings. Commonly called The Jones Fracture, the affected bone is the long bone on the outside of the foot that connects to the little toe. How long the injury will keep Seibald on the shelf is yet to be determined, but the Wings will surely miss the energy and speed he brings to the middle of the floor if he is to miss an extended amount of time. The Wings open their season on Jan. 11 at home against the Buffalo Bandits.
