Canadian Lacrosse League teams are getting ready for the 2013 season, preparing for the supplemental draft of players released by National Lacrosse League teams and the first games of CLax’s second season in January. The league itself, meanwhile, has announced Ticketpro as a sponsor. Starting today, fans can buy tickets to CLax games online at Ticketpro’s web site.
“Ticketpro is very excited to be the official ticketing provider for the league,” company marketing director Judi Pressman said in a press release. “And we are very proud to support Paul St. John, the League Commissioner, in the love and passion he has for this game.”
Pressman says Ticketpro will provide CLax fans with “easy purchasing access with online accessibility to tickets, whether individual games, Family or League Passes or Season Tickets! Ticketpro is honoured to be part of this growing sport and to be an integral part in the expansion of the league across Canada.”
St. John says the agreement is good for lacrosse fans. ”Partnering with Ticketpro is another step in the right direction for the Canadian Lacrosse League. Ticketpro has the right ideas when it comes to keeping service fees low, their All-In ticket prices make it easy for fans to know what they are paying without the added costs.
Fans can purchase CLax tickets for five of the league’s seven teams. The Durham TurfDogs and Toronto Shooting Stars are not part of the agreement because of restrictions at their venues. More information about the league and buying tickets to see it can be found at the CLax web site.
The price for single-game tickets throughout the league is $12 for adults, $8 for children, students and adults 60+. Season tickets for any team are $50/$35 and you can buy a league pass, good for all regular season and playoff games in CLax in 2013, for just $100.Stamp is a TV sports announcer and lacrosse lover whose skill set made him a defender but who always dreamed of being a goal-scorer.
