Reading Rockets thank fans for hanging in through tough inaugural PLL season

The Reading Rockets are pleased to announce that Saturday’s contest against the rival Charlotte Copperheads will be Fan Appreciation Night, and the team will be running several promotions throughout the game.

In addition to the Buy One Get One offer, courtesy of WFMZ, the Rockets will be holding an autograph session on the field after the game. During the session, the Rockets will hold a drawing where fans can win the Shirts Off Our Back! Each lucky fan will be given their jersey by the player himself and will include an autograph and photo opportunity. Make sure to stop by the Fan Assistance Center to enter!

The Rockets are honoring The Opportunity House in Reading and collecting toys for Toys for Tots. Any fan bringing a new, unwrapped toy will receive $2 off their ticket. The First Annual Teddy Bear Toss will take place when the Rockets score their first goal. Fans are encouraged to bring stuffed animals to toss onto the field after the Rockets score! The stuffed animals will be donated to local agencies who deal with kids, such as police and fire departments, Opportunity House and Toys for Tots.

“We appreciate the fans and corporate partners who have supported us in our inaugural season,” said Vice President and General Manager Andy Makal. “We’ve definitely had our ups and downs, but we feel like we’re laying the foundation of something really special here in Reading, and for that, we’re very grateful.”
