After eight years running the Coquitlam Adanacs junior and intermediate programs, Ken Wood is stepping into the role of President of the BC Junior A Lacrosse League with a clear vision of what he hopes to accomplish. “This should be exciting, I’m really looking forward to helping steer the league in a more profitable direction,” Wood told the Coquitlam Now. Wood hopes to use his business experience to help the league engage in significantly more promotion and corporate partnering to increase its visibility and attendance. “Definitely on the corporate side, nothing is happening. The sky’s the limit right now,” he said. Wood was appointed to the position at the BCLA general meeting, which also saw the reinstatement of the Junior Entry Draft after a two-year hiatus.Stamp is a TV sports announcer and lacrosse lover whose skill set made him a defender but who always dreamed of being a goal-scorer.
