Coaches. Some days they’re a genius and other days, not so much. They have their off days just as top National Lacrosse League players have off-games. The key, obviously, is to limit those bad days in the interest of job security. And in today’s game, coaches work harder than ever to get all the talent of a roster on a single page toward the singular goal of winning games. And in the bigger picture, winning a Champion’s Cup. Some guys do it better than others, and have the resume to prove it. Others struggle. And yet there are still plenty of talented coaches today who are not involved with the NLL for one reason or another. And that brings us to today’s question: Who is the best coach NOT in the game today?

This presented list is not all-inclusive. There are plenty of bright minds in the world of lacrosse who have never been involved with the league. But the common denominator for the names in today’s list is that they have all, at one time or another, coached in the NLL.

Maybe we missed a name. If so, start a thread. As it is, we’ve got what we think is a pretty good list. So vote today for a coach. And tomorrow, vote for a president.
