Tom Montour may be trading in Bandits black and orange for Knighthawks teal this year, but some of the other fellows in his new uniform will be pretty familiar to him. The long-time Buffalo transition player was released by Rochester’s rival and quickly signed on for the other side of the rivalry. When he hits the floor at the Blue Cross Arena he’ll be lining up beside Six Nations Chiefs teammates like Cody Jamieson and  Sid Smith, which will help make him more comfortable in his new surroundings. And as he told Knighthawks.com, he excited about the chance to play some more with uber-talented youngster Johnny Powless. “I actually can’t wait to play with Johnny. I like his style,” Montour said. “He’s a young kid. I know I don’t have the greatest hands like he does, but he kind of reminds me of kind of myself, a go-getter kind of attitude. That’s the reason why I want to play with him.”
