Peterborough completed a huge deal just before the Major Series Lacrosse trade deadline struck. The Lakers added young goaltender Tyler Carlson and transition player¬† Jordan MacIntosh from the Ajax Rock in exchange for a first-round pick in 2015 and other considerations. Carlson, who completed an outstanding rookie year with the¬† Minnesota Swarm this winter, should add clarity to what had been a muddied picture in the Lakers goal. Mike Thompson, Angus Goodleaf and Kevin Croswell were all taking turns starting. Each had played well at times and struggled at other times. Goodleaf was shipped to the Kitchener-Waterloo Kodiaks. MacIntosh was MSL’s Rookie of the Year in 2011 and quickly established himself as one of the best transition players in the game in his rookie NLL season with the Swarm this year.
