The Professional Lacrosse League continues to take steps towards launching its inaugural season at the end of this summer. PLL will soon announce that it has hired Ryan Harrison to be its Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “We are excited to have someone like Ryan join our staff,” says PLL President Brett Vickers. “Ryan has a ton of experience in 2nd tier sports and I thought he would be a great fit for our league.
Harrison was most recently the Chief Administrator for the All American Hockey League, a minor league based in the U.S. midwest. He has also helped Federal Hockey League clubs with online media and marketing efforts. His role with PLL will be developing corporate sponsorships, licensing and social media, and maintaining the PLL website.
Harrison says he is looking forward to the challenge. “I am really excited to be given this opportunity to help bring the Professional Lacrosse League to great heights of professionalism on and off the floor.”
The PLL plans to start playing this September with the Shamrocks and Haymakers in Pennsylvania as well as the Charlotte Copperheads and Jacksonville Bullies.Stamp is a TV sports announcer and lacrosse lover whose skill set made him a defender but who always dreamed of being a goal-scorer.
