West wins NLL All-Star Game for first time in Six years, Snider the scoring star

Geoff Snider receives his MVP award from Commissioner George Daniel
On a day when the league’s best offensive players were expected to shine the brightest, faceoff phenom Geoff Snider showed he’s no slouch outside the centre circle as well. Snider had 4 goals and 2 assists to lead the West to a 20-18 win over the East in the National Lacrosse League’s All-Star Game before 13,466 fans in Buffalo last night. Gavin Prout also scored 4 goals for the West while another transition and faceoff guy, Jordan MacIntosh, had 3 goals and an assist. Luke Wiles, who left the West to join the Bandits in the off-season, led the way for the East with a hat trick. Five players had a pair of goal each for the East, including ageless wonder and Wiles’ teammate John Tavares. You can check it all out at Steve Bermel’s IL Indoor in-game blog, the NLL.com game story and the game sheet.
