The North American Lacrosse League has indicated that fighting — one of the most talked-about aspects of the National Lacrosse League — will result in much harsher penalties than it garners in the larger established league.
That’s bound to stir up conversation on both sides of the border, with Canadian fans possibly appalled at the thought of removing a trait from boxla that has long helped identify it as one of the grittiest sports on the planet.
However, the U.S.-centric league, which is aimed at growing the sport of box lacrosse in the States, will likely have a somewhat different fan base than that of the NLL, as each of the NALL teams are located in non-hotbed cities or states.
ILIndoor.com wants to know how our readers feel about the NALL working to keep fighting out of the picture. Chime in below and tell us what you think, and discuss it over on the ILIndoor Forums.
