ILIndoor has confirmed that the Rochester Knighthawks and Edmonton Rush have made a trade involving five players. While details are quite slim at this point of the holiday weekend, the deal shakes down like this: Rochester sends long-time Hawk and captain Shawn Williams along with backup goalie Aaron Bold to Edmonton in exchange for Alex Kedoh-Hill, Andy Secore and Ryan Cousins.

In talking with Bold, he feels that this is a great shot for him to gain that elusive starting position in the NLL and is thankful for his time in Rochester. “I have nothing bad to say about the Rochester organization. Curt Styres is a great person and it’s nice to see someone with as much passion for the sport to grow as he does.” Bold will now join a goaltending unit that includes Kevin Croswell and Brodie MacDonald, two other young goalies looking to make a name for themselves.

Stay tuned to ILIndoor for more news on this trade as it becomes available, as there are mostly likely some possible draft picks involved as well.
