Not sure how many noticed the substantial PIM haul in last week’s game between the RMLL’s (Junior ‘A’) Calgary Raiders and Calgary Mountaineers, but the teams combined for a total of 178 sin bin minutes, most coming in a heated third period. Recently picked up backstop Carson Michaud played his first minutes for his new club, tussling with Mounties goalie Jordan Kancsal in an always appreciated mid-floor tendy tilly, while Raiders captain Jake Hayes went buckets with Taylor Graham and former Roughnecks’ owner Brad Banister’s son Mitch did the same with Kyle Gray. Above and after the jump, check out the spills (vids courtesy dtandgo) in last week’s late regular season clash at SAIT Campus Centre Arena. By the way, the Raiders won the game 13-9, and although unconfirmed, the two sides look set to play one another in the first round of Alberta’s post-season.The foremost boxla writer, Tutka is a former NLL scout and a longtime Inside Lacrosse contributor.
