2011 marks Year 4 of IL Indoor’s Junior of the Year Awards (JOTY), looking at the best-of-the-best of the Junior game across Canada; the British Columbia Junior ‘A’ Lacrosse League, Alberta Junior ‘A’ Lacrosse and the Ontario Lacrosse Association’s Junior ‘A’ loop. Just before this year’s Minto Cup, which will be played in Okotoks (Calgary) from August 20-28, we’ll name Canada’s best Junior Player, Defender, Goalie, Rookie, Coach and All-Canadian Teams, and then our Playoff Performer of the Year and Minto Cup First & Second Teams too. Last year we handed Orangeville Northmen goalie Dillon Ward our Junior of the Year nod, Adam Jones and Cody Jamieson taking the honour the two years previous.
