Like many teams this past week, the Rochester Knighthawks kicked off their main training camp with most of their vets and still in the running free agents and rookies.

The team has made substantial changes on the floor with the addition of players like reigning National Lacrosse League Goalie of the Year Matt Vinc, first overall entry draft selection Cody Jamieson, former Champion’s Cup lucky charm Mike Accursi, and one of the best two-way players in the game right now, Jordan Hall via the Orlando Titans dispersal draft. The team also has a new bench boss for 2011, former franchise captain and fan favourite Mike Hasen, who will also likely be making significant tactical changes on the floor as well in order to spark the team back into the playoffs. Check out what the rookie NLL head coach had to say coming out of this past weekend’s sessions, after the jump.
