Host of NLL stars played for Syracuse Alumni on Saturday

A group of Syracuse University Lacrosse alums lost to the current Orange squad 14-12 on Saturday at the Carrier Dome, including NLL stars Casey Powell, Dan Hardy, Gary Gait, Brett Bucktooth, Regy Thorpe and Steve Panarelli. InsideLacrosse.com’s Casey Vock was there for a live blog and postgame report. Among the top performers for the alums were Powell (two goals, two assists) and Hardy (five assists), both Orlando Titans last season. With the shuttering of the Titans, Powell will suit up for Boston this winter, while Hardy was picked up by Rochester.
