NLL Insider has learned that two of the biggest names in the National Lacrosse League are swapping area codes and heading home after a full off-season’s worth of heavy trade speculation.

In a deal that has been a long time coming, the Toronto Rock and Washington Stealth have pulled off easily the biggest trade from the past year, a deal that sees Colin Doyle and Lewis Ratcliff heading back “home”. Sources tell NLL Insider that the trade will see the Toronto Rock send Ratcliff, injured dispersal draft pick Tyler Codron and first round draft pick Joel Dalgarno to the Washington Stealth, and in return get one of the biggest pieces of their past dyansty in Doyle.

It’s expected the trade will be officially announced shortly.
