UncategorizedColorado forward Dan Carey out with upper body injury

NLL Insider has learned that Colorado Mammoth forward Dan Carey will likely be missing this weekend’s game against the New York Titans with what is being described as an upper body injury by the team.
Carey appeared to leave last Thursday night’s game against Rochester partway through with an apparent injury. Carey would also miss the Mammoth’s other week 15 game against Buffalo two nights later.
It’s unclear what specifically is wrong with Carey or when exactly during the game against Rochester he may have been injured, but as Mammoth Head Coach Bob McMahon said on today’s media conference call, there’s a 99% chance that Carey will not be in the lineup this weekend.
This is the first time Carey has missed a single game since entering the league in 2006. He had played in 43 consecutive games previous to missing last weekend’s game against the Bandits.
It’s unknown how long Carey might be on the shelf for.
